How does Snowdrop Solutions Ltd alleviate the data protection and GDPR concerns?
When sending transaction info to MRS, it is only information about the merchant that is required. No information about the end consumer is used. Snowdrop has capabilities in place to suppress merchant information being returned that may be considered PII.
What is the current version of the MRS API?
The current version of the MRS API is v3.0. We recently released a number of enhancements which we put under the banner of "MRS v3.5". In the service of maintaining backwards compatibility and keeping things easy for our customers, the MRS version, as designated in API calls, will remain v3.0. In addition to this, the new release will not force any changes to existing applications. The new capabilities, such as our improved categorisation, will be made available via configuration changes and can be implemented at the convenience of our customers.
Who can benefit from using the MRS API?
Banks, financial institutions, and financial app developers looking to provide users with detailed insights into their spending habits can benefit from using the MRS. It helps in budgeting, financial planning, and improving user engagement with financial apps.
