Locating the Future of Travel Google Maps

n June 21st, 2016, the Google Maps for Work and Snowdrop Solutions hosted the “Locating the Future of Travel” at Google’s Central St Giles offices in London. Senior executives from across the travel and transportation industry joined us to learn how to best optimise the full value of Google Maps.

The conference began with exciting presentations from three high ranking Googlers: Marko Pignataro, Manager, Enterprise GEO Terri Scriven, Industry Head-Travel and Ed Boiling, Enterprise GEO-Technology.  They explored the consumer-friendly benefits of the current version of Google Maps for Work and gave a sneak preview of the “Artificial Intelligence” to come.

After the Google presentations, Ken Hart, Principal of Snowdrop Solutions, reviewed the best practices that Snowdrop Solutions has learned various deployments in the travel and transportation sectors.  These practices allow clients to get the most value from their Google licenses and provide the most engaging experience for their customers.  Ken then invited Snowdrop clients Neil Roberts, Head of Digital at Eurostar, and two senior members of Visit Wales’ digital team, Craig Goodwin and Bryn Halliwell, to share their innovative uses of Google Maps.

Following the event, Ken Hart of Snowdrop Solutions stated:
